He has held roles as the Secretary, Treasurer, Second Vice President and President of the Union, Middlesex and Somerset Counties Chiropractic Association, which has since merged into the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.

Dr. Potochney's practice goals, first and foremost, are to make sure you walk out of his office feeling better than when you walked in.  He not only treats patients for the pain they are currently experiencing, he also identifies the root cause so he can recommend a treatment plan to reduce recurring discomfort.  To increase positive outcomes, he teaches various exercises to strengthen the spine and back muscles, which are necessary to enable proper posture.
